We saw students with immense potential and families trying their best to provide guidance, but they lacked a single, unified tool to connect today's choices with tomorrow's opportunities. We decided to build that tool.

Arthur Olvesen
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
As the visionary behind DREAMSTREAM Academy, Arthur is a seasoned leader from Fortune 100 firms like JPMorgan Chase and American Express. His extensive experience leading complex business transformations, with a sharp focus on risk management and compliance, gave him a comprehensive view of corporate operations.
This unique perspective, which included successfully remediating federal regulatory findings, revealed the critical need for a platform to demystify career readiness. Arthur now applies his holistic leadership and contributes to the platform's code, ensuring DREAMSTREAM Academy's mission to transform student lives is embedded in every aspect of the company.
Dr. Sheila Thomas
Co-Founder & Chief Academic Officer
With over 28 years at Harvard University, Dr. Sheila Thomas is a distinguished higher education leader. Starting as a cancer biology researcher and faculty member, she later assumed multiple deanships within the Graduate School, leading academic programs, student affairs, and diversity initiatives.
Dr. Thomas has a proven track record of creating new degree programs, enhancing student retention, and fostering inclusive environments for underrepresented groups. At DREAMSTREAM Academy, she leverages this deep expertise to spearhead the development of student roadmaps, ensuring every student has a clear, actionable plan to navigate their education and achieve professional success.
Adam Roy
Co-Founder & Chief Operations OfficerAdam is an expert in using data to drive organizational excellence, a skill honed through consulting roles and over 15 years at Qlarion, including as CTO. There, he guided major government clients on leveraging analytics to solve large-scale problems.
Also a partner in his own tech company and holding an MBA in Strategy, Adam has a firsthand understanding of building and optimizing businesses. As interim COO of DREAMSTREAM Academy, he applies this powerful blend of technical and strategic expertise to build the data-driven operational engine that will allow the company to scale and maximize student impact.
Roger Conley Wood
Co-Founder & Strategic AdvisorRoger is a technologist and investor who architected the mobile computing era over 30 years. His career is marked by industry-defining achievements, from developing iDEN, the global standard for digital dispatch (Nextel), to helping launch the GSM International Consortium that became T-Mobile.
While VP of Digital Media at Hearst, he designed the core specifications for the Apple News Plus content system. He also re-imagined mobile payments as a social, networked experience. At DREAMSTREAM Academy, Roger now serves as a strategic advisor, using his expertise to build a revolutionary and scalable technology platform for a global audience.
Jim Coe
Head of Curriculum DevelopmentJim has over a decade of experience in public, parochial, and private schools, including one of the nation's foremost high schools. A strong proponent of student-centered learning, he empowers students to think critically and work collaboratively by foregrounding the use of primary sources in lessons and assessments. Among his honors, Jim has been a Gilder Lehrman Master Teacher since 2018.
As Head of Curriculum Development for DREAMSTREAM Academy, Jim now applies his methodology on a broader scale. He is building an engaging learning ecosystem that teaches students how to ask the right questions, navigate complex ideas, and find their voice.
Umair Ahmad
Head of OperationsUmair is an operations leader dedicated to connecting education with opportunity. After a distinguished career as a senior cybersecurity analyst for firms like SAIC, he founded Blue Cyber IT. His company created a complete career-readiness ecosystem for aspiring cybersecurity professionals, providing a proven roadmap through hands-on training, resume building, interview prep, and job placement.
As Head of Operations at DREAMSTREAM Academy, Umair now applies this powerful, holistic vision on a broader stage. He builds the operational engine that drives our mission, using his firsthand experience to help every student successfully navigate their path to a rewarding profession.
Joseph Yoon
Head of Partnerships
Throughout his career, Joseph Yoon has followed a single philosophy: helping people achieve independence through thoughtful, long-term planning. He honed this "planning is key" approach as a financial services leader, serving as a Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer where he built trusted roadmaps to success.
An Economics graduate of Johns Hopkins, Joseph now applies his expertise as Head of Partnerships for DREAMSTREAM Academy. He is responsible for forging the strategic alliances that connect our students to a world of opportunity, building the essential pathways that will empower their own professional and financial independence.
Jason Bryant
Head of Corporate Strategy
With a 25-year career in high-stakes technical and security roles, Jason is a leader in corporate strategy for the defense and intelligence communities. His expertise, honed at Fortune 500 companies in national security and nuclear energy, involves the rare ability to plan for the decades ahead while ensuring absolute security today.
At DREAMSTREAM Academy, Jason applies this disciplined, long-term perspective as Head of Corporate Strategy. Aaron Yin
Head of MediaFor over 15 years, Aaron helped tell America's most important stories as a multimedia design specialist for the Department of Defense. He played a critical production role in high-stakes events like Presidential Inaugurations and Medal of Honor ceremonies, demonstrating a mastery of media and storytelling under immense pressure.
At DREAMSTREAM Academy, Aaron applies this unique creative and technical expertise to a new mission: empowering students. He leads the production of rich media content that makes our career roadmaps engaging and accessible, ensuring the DREAMSTREAM experience is as compelling as it is educational.
